Meeting with Karl

Georgia is currently under a winter storm watch, so I'm underneath the covers with my sketch pad. I was pondering what my next piece should be, when it hit me! What would a Millennial Fashion Socialite, Blogger, or Designer, wear to a business meeting with Karl Lagerfeld

So my inspiration for this sketch, was a lunch date with Karl. When meeting, or attending a function dedicated to a designer, it's polite to wear a piece from their collection. Therefore, my model is donning a black tweed Chanel suit, an immediate classic. Black goes with everything, it's sleek, elegant, Parisian, and very Karl. On the jacket's pockets and sleeves, I added a white tweed trim, carrying it onto the skirt's pockets. I paired the ensemble with patent leather ankle boots, and gave her a chic,  put together, top knot!  What do you think? Would Karl love it?

My inspiration: Chanel Ready -to-Wear

A pair for you and me!

There are shoes, and then there are THESE SHOES...

Chanel can never go wrong in my book, and when I spotted these stunners on Pinterest, I immediately pinned them on my board. Of course, I had to sketch them out too! I love the Chanel C's in between the heel, so genius! I plan on adding these to my closet one day, but for now they are in my sketch pad lol. What do you think? Photo Op

For my latest creation, I wanted to express the lifestyle of a Fashion Enthusiast, whether she's a blogger, a photographer, or an editor. I get inspiration from the street style post, that flood our Instagram and Pinterest. I literally can be up all night scrolling street style, I'm addicted. So I decided to portray that lifestyle into my illustration.

Here's my little photographer in her faux or real, (whatever you'd prefer) fur coat, wearing black skinnies, with her Chanel Boy Bag, adorned with a bag charm, and pounding the pavement in trendy lace up flats. What do you think?

I have  a similar look that I'll post, to show you guys how you can achieve this ensemble on a 20 something's budget. Of course, I want everything on this post too, but I'm still working on it lol.
