Watch Out

Watches are a must have in our daily fashion lives. In my opinion, an outfit isn't complete without a classic watch. One of my favorite watches is the Marc Jacobs Amy Watch, and it retails for $175.  I've had this watch for about 5yrs, and I blame it for my current watch obsession. It's such a simple and timeless (no pun intended), watch. It literally goes with everything. It's lightweight yet, very sturdy. I've banged this watch on countertops, car doors, tables, etc, and it's stayed in tack. It's one of Marc's most popular watches, I've seen so many women with this particular style. It's easy, elegant, and beautifully understated.
The Marc Jacobs Amy watch is sold at these retailers: Nordstrom (on sale), Bloomingdale's (on sale)  Macys , Marc Jacobs

Try Thakoon on for size

Hi everyone! Remember the Polyvore set I posted, featuring this jacket below? I promised to share the details about it soon, so here it is! This is my new Thakoon Addition Jacket. Thakoon, was started in 2004, by designer Thakoon Panichgul, he was born in Thailand, raised in Omaha, and is currently based in New York. His design aesthetic focuses on innovative construction, with feminine spirt and elegance, but with a playfulness.

MORE DETAILS BELOW

I found this jacket a few weeks ago, during a designer sale. I wasn't searching for a jacket at the time, but it caught my attention in between the racks. It's definitely one of those gems you casually come across every now and then. It's a wool/leather blend, loose fitted, double breasted jacket. It has an asymmetrical double zipper, quilted leather in the front, zipped cuffs, and is fully lined.

It's a nice jacket to have on deck when you need the warmth of a coat, but not the burden of carrying one. In my opinion, you can never have too much outerwear, especially in Georgia where the weather is so topsy turvy.

CONT BELOW

I left early yesterday, to take the jacket out for a spin and take some snap shots for you guys. I wore my ripped black jeans, a black blouse, faux fur scarf, and over the knee boots. The jacket fits loose, but doesn't drape your body like it's too big/slouchy. It's a very flattering easy going piece. It's roomy enough to fit over sweaters without making you look stuffed, and you'll be twice as warm! I'd say its a very chic little number.

Pump it Up

Do you know about Neiman Marcus's best kept secret, their outlet store Last Call? Now, it's not really that hush hush, but to some this is news! Last Call is one of the best outlets with the most salivating deals! It's Neiman's merchandise, so they carry designers such as; Theory, Vince, Valentino, Stuart Weitzman, Diane Von Furstenberg and various others, for 30-60% off (If not more). This week, the store is currently having a two day sale up to 75% off, in store and online. You can't let a Neiman's sale this tempting go by, and not benefit from it! Plus, who doesn't love scoring  designer pieces?!

This is the Prestige Pointed Toe Pump, by Neiman Marcus. These pumps were about $200, and I paid $80 for them at Last Call. They're your classic pointed toe pump, 100% leather, 4inch heel, and they're extremely comfortable! Neiman Marcus's personal brand, carries everything from clothes to accessories, and the at finest quality. You can find Neiman Marcus products, at Neimans and Last Call. Valentine's Day Gift Guide (For Her)

Can you believe Valentine's Day is right around the corner?!
Christmas isn't even a month away, and we're about to enter another holiday! Where did the time go?  Valentine's Day can be a tricky one. You don't always have to go the traditional route, and grab a box of chocolates and a giant bear. Although, I do love my box of Ferrero Rochers lol.

I decided to post a few of my top gifts for Valentine's Day, hopefully they'll give you some ideas. If you started searching for gifts, or you just want to spoil yourself, these stylish items will warm any heart!

I posted the gifts below, in the order they appear in the picture with the links.

Cozy Knits and Vince

The temps are plummeting and snow flurries are in the air! It's time to take out our sweaters, or if you haven't already, start investing in some quality knitwear. Knits are pieces I highly recommend spending a little more money on, because they're basic must haves. When the weather gets cold, it's nice to have sweaters and cardigans that are well made, will keep you warm, and have longevity. You'll always need knits in your wardrobe. They aren't trendy, they're comfortable, and one of the most flexible pieces in your closet.

                                                                           VINCE

One of my favorite brands for knitwear is Vince; an LA based company founded in 2002, with an aesthetic focusing on effortless and modern, every day style. The brand's known for their luxurious knits, but over the years they've expanded to ready- to -wear and accessories. Their prices are slightly expensive, but as I stated earlier, it's important to invest in key pieces, and Vince is well worth it. Vince has its own stores, but it's also sold at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale's.

Occasionally, you can score a Vince piece at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx. Now that's a find!

Now where did I put my keys?

I received this nifty credit card case with key ring, from Neiman Marcus for $42. It's part of their collection of travel goods, consisting of cosmetic cases, jewelry pouches etc. Each piece is crafted from Saffiano leather, and comes in black, red, leopard print, and are sold individually.

FYI all travel accessories are currently on sale for under $50, and this credit card case is $22! Each little travel essential can be found at Neiman Marcus

                                                                  DETAILS
It fits about 6 cards, has a zipper slot for money, and is super slim and light weight. It's perfect for smaller bags or if you need a grab and go wallet.

The clear section in the back, is a great place to put your license & insurance card

Go to dainty

I just adore this Tory Burch necklace I received for Christmas. I love how understated the Tory logo is, it's so effortless and timeless. The Tory T's are dainty & elegant without being too obvious. Sometimes items overly adorned with a designer's logo, can be a bit too intense. (Don't you think?)

It's the perfect length, stopping right at my collar bone. It can be dressed up or down, and won't clash with other jewelry if you decide to layer. Oh, and it just shines beautifully! I've already recieved so many compliments!

Countdown to Christmas

Haven't gone Christmas shopping yet, or completely stumped on what to get your fave person? No worries, I conjured up a short list of wallet friendly items that will leave you, and your gift recipients merry!

Merry Christmas!
