Cozy Knits and Vince

The temps are plummeting and snow flurries are in the air! It's time to take out our sweaters, or if you haven't already, start investing in some quality knitwear. Knits are pieces I highly recommend spending a little more money on, because they're basic must haves. When the weather gets cold, it's nice to have sweaters and cardigans that are well made, will keep you warm, and have longevity. You'll always need knits in your wardrobe. They aren't trendy, they're comfortable, and one of the most flexible pieces in your closet.

                                                                           VINCE

One of my favorite brands for knitwear is Vince; an LA based company founded in 2002, with an aesthetic focusing on effortless and modern, every day style. The brand's known for their luxurious knits, but over the years they've expanded to ready- to -wear and accessories. Their prices are slightly expensive, but as I stated earlier, it's important to invest in key pieces, and Vince is well worth it. Vince has its own stores, but it's also sold at NordstromNeiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale's

Occasionally, you can score a Vince piece at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx. Now that's a find!

It's a Quilted Affair

For Christmas, I decided to buy the Rebecca Minkoff, Quilted Affair handbag. If you have followed me on the blog or Instagram, you know my weakness is a black handbag, detailed with gold hardware. It's like my kryptonite. I've been eyeing The Quilted Affair for about two years. It's a great take on the Chanel Flap bag, but with its own Minkoff twist.

If you're saving for the classic Chanel Flap like I am, The Quilted Affair is perfect if you want the Chanel appeal, at a designer price that won't break your young adult budget. The Quilted Affair comes in three sizes; the mini $195, the large $295 & the jumbo $350.

I bought the large affair above, for $295, and it fits a regular or small wallet, keys, some cosmetics, and your tech gadgets. It doesn't hold a water bottle, but I'm pretty sure their jumbo size should lol.
It's a great everyday bag that I can wear as a cross body or a shoulder, and the the chain is adjustable! You can find the Quilted Affair at Rebecca Minkoff, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales!
