My Audience : Teen Vogue X Parsons
12:33 PM
The next assignment for my classes with Vogue & Parsons, that I mentioned in my previous post below, is to research my core audience for my blog & Linkedin. If you have a blog, Twitter, Linkedin, or any social media outlet, try looking up your core audience & site traffic. You can find it by creating a free profile on Hootsuite.com. It's really helpful. Here's what I discovered.
Bdarielle
For Bdarielle, I discovered my main audience resides in The United States, and I also have some readers from Russia, Columbia, Germany, Poland, France, & Japan! That's pretty exciting. I wasn't expecting a lot of traffic, since I have about 4 followers right now lol, but overall, a total of 3,055 people have read bdarielle! Last month, I had 232 page views, and 23 views yesterday. So far, my most popular post is the one I did about making your own Prada Marfa sign, inspired by Gossip Girl. My recent post about the Balmain X H&M collaboration, aka Bravo Balmain Nation, is another popular post as well. I noticed that most of my post are read during mornings & nights, which is about the same time that I post. Even if you're not getting comments, that doesn't mean you don't have a following. So fellow bloggers keep posting!
Linked In
Now, to my Linked in profile. I have had a total of 12 views in the last 90 days, mostly from fashion professionals and graphic designers. I haven't updated my page in a while, and that caused a 20% drop on my profile ranking. I am ranked number 33, out of 36 within my connections.
Good Job. The TeenVogue Parson class brought me here!
